Nylon is a kind of engineering plastics developed early and used in large quantities. It has high impact strength and tensile strength, excellent abrasion resistance, chemical resistance and solvent resistance. However, due to their high hygroscopicity and poor dimensional stability, Nylon 6 and Nylon 66 have high melting points (215 ℃ and 225 ℃ respectively), but there is a glass transition point at about 120 ℃, so their allowable continuous use temperature is only 105 ℃. Polyamide 6 Resin Textile Grade can overcome the above two shortcomings, reducing the water absorption to below 1%, and raising the thermal deformation temperature to 205 ℃ (reinforced nylon-6) and 250 ℃ (reinforced nylon-66) (both under the load of 1.86MPa); The product has good dimensional stability, and further improves the surface hardness, tensile strength, bending strength and wear resistance. The tensile strength of 30% glass fiber reinforced nylon-6 and nylon-66 is about 170 MPa, and their specific strength has exceeded that of ordinary light metals, such as zinc and magnesium, and is close to that of aluminum. Carbon fiber composite nylon material has the characteristics of low density, high strength, good rigidity, fatigue resistance, creep resistance, anti-static, electromagnetic interference resistance, small thermal expansion coefficient, good dimensional stability, etc. It can be processed by injection molding, extrusion molding and other methods.
